Peanut Butter Cookies
These soft and chewy cookies are made with creamy peanut butter and are a fan favourite
Ingredients:
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the peanut butter and sugar together until well combined. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.
Use a fork to press down on the cookies to create a crisscross pattern.
Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes, or until they are lightly golden around the edges. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
Note: You can also add in other mix-ins such as chocolate chips or chopped nuts to customize your cookies. Just be sure to not add too much or the dough may become too dry and crumbly.
